Like a cup being poured out, Jesus emptied himself. He took off the robes and crown of heaven in order to be born in the likeness of man. He had the right to be served by all of creation, and yet he became a servant of all. He was willing to lay down everything and anything that he could rightfully hold onto, for the sake of others. If we truly grasp that Jesus did all that for us, when we were enemies of God and dead in our sin, in order to bring us into fellowship with him -- then are we ready to demonstrate the same kind of love to those around us? Are we ready to show that kind of love to our neighbors, to our enemies, and to our brothers and sisters in Christ?  Read More

Dates for work groups to return to Kimball, WV with SWAP (Sharing with Appalachian People) in summer 2021 are now available. Although plans may change, as of now SWAP plans to host teams at 50% capacity, and every other week. Creg Wood spoke about the area this past Sunday when we prayed for the team going this week. This summer SWAP plans to return to doing work on homes of area residents, and will focus on outside work and have Covid precautions in place. Each tag is labeled with the name of a family or individual who has been worshipping at home. Please take a tag, mark down on the clipboard whose name you took, and follow the directions on the tag to provide the family with a special gift of love from Greenmonte!
