We will hold our worship service indoors at our Greenmonte church building this Sunday, August 30th at 10:15am. Our church building is located at 1661 Cold Springs Rd, Stuarts Draft.
Health Precautions
We request that everyone age 10 and older observe the Governor's mandate to wear a mask. The sanctuary has been appropriately prepared to seat people in accordance with social distancing guidelines.
Worship Streaming on Facebook Live and Youtube at 10:15am
In addition to streaming our worship live on our Facebook page, we will also be livestreaming our worship on our Greenmonte Youtube channel.
Back-to-School Ice Cream Party Postponed
Our Back-to-School ice cream party in recognition of our middle schoolers has been postponed until Sunday, September 6th after worship at the Peltolas' home.
Whether you're joining us at our church building or from home, we look forward to worshiping the Lord together!
Our Bible reading this week is:
Acts 20-23, 27-28, Ephesians 1-6, 2 Timothy 1-4. If you're reading in The Story book, this is Chapter 30.

Bible Mom on YouTube
Liza Peltola has taken her kids' lessons online with her own YouTube channel called Bible Mom! Each 5-minute Bible lesson ties a scriptural truth to an interesting object. Check out Episode #1 and then click the "subscribe" button to see a new episode each week. We know that the Lord's word will not return to Him void, so pray for thousands (no, millions) to discover these videos!
Life Groups Launch September 7
We will be launching a new season of life groups at Greenmonte on September 7. Life groups are a great way to form relationships and grow in our faith as we seek to know and love Jesus together. Stay tuned for more information!
Greenmonte Women's Retreat: September 11 & 12
On September 11th and 12th (Friday evening and Saturday morning), we will be holding a Greenmonte Women's Retreat at a beautiful private home in Swoope, Virginia. This event will be held entirely outdoors (weather permitting) on a spacious patio and lawn. The theme of our retreat is "Beauty from Brokenness," and our special guest speaker, Kerry Shuey, will be sharing on this topic. Dinner will be served on Friday, and breakfast and lunch will be served on Saturday. We will have plenty of fellowship, prayer, and worship time. There will be an option to swim in the pool before and after the retreat sessions on both days. All ladies 8th grade and up are welcome. This is not currently an overnight retreat.
Our hope and prayer is that this retreat would be a special time for you to find refreshment and renewed hope in the Lord and in fellowship with other women. During an especially challenging year, the Lord can bring beauty from all of our brokenness as we come together in Him!
Please register by Wednesday, September 2nd.
Registration is $20 per person. If you can't afford the registration cost, please let us know and we can waive your fee.

Friday, September 11
6-9pm (Dinner & Session 1) Pool and patio will be open for swimming and fellowship as early as 3pm
Saturday, September 12
8am - 1pm (Breakfast, Sessions 2 & 3, and Lunch)
Pool and patio will be open for swimming and fellowship until 5pm

Discover Love INC Orientation
Love INC is a local Christian ministry that provides churches with opportunities to serve their communities with Christ's love. They are currently in need of volunteers for their thrift stores, particularly the store in Fishersville.
