Learning To Trust God

After praising God for delivering them through the Red Sea, the Israelites soon began to complain when they faced bitter water, hunger, and thirst in the wilderness. Each time, God faithfully provided—making water drinkable, sending manna and quail, and bringing water from a rock.

This passage reminds us that it is possible to worship loudly on Sunday and question God's faithfulness by Wednesday. Yet God can handle our honest lament and invites us to bring our needs to Him. Even in difficult seasons, God provides in the wilderness.
