Pass It Down

In Titus 2:1–5, Paul describes what a gospel-shaped life looks like and how faith is meant to be passed from one generation to the next. Older believers are called to model a life of godliness and encourage younger believers to follow that example.

This is a portrait of a disciple of Jesus. It doesn’t require perfection to be a child of God—it requires a relationship with Christ that transforms the way we live.

We pass down the gospel by living it out. Our example can speak more powerfully than our words when our lives are deeply shaped by our conviction and relationship with Jesus. What we believe should be visible in how we love, serve, speak, and live.

Ultimately, we pass it down to glorify God. The pattern we leave for others is a gospel-shaped life—one that points people beyond ourselves and toward Christ.
