Christmas in Genesis

The consequence of sin in the Garden was cosmic, because it separated the creation from its Creator. But God promised that he would send someone to crush the head of the serpent and unite the two again. Not only that, but God himself would come to dwell with us. All of history and Scripture has advanced towards the day when Jesus, the Messiah, would be born. His arrival is proof that God's kingdom is advancing and it can't be stopped. May we rejoice with the angels that God has sent us our Savior!
