Mike Lowery
Mike and his wife Dana celebrated 25 years of marriage on May 2, 2012. Mike and Dana have been blessed with two daughters, Cara Christine, their oldest, and Casey Annette, their youngest.
Mike has attended Greenmonte since he was a little boy. In the past few years, however, Mike has sensed a specific call from God upon his life to teach middle school age students in grades 6th, 7th and 8th. His desire for each of them reaches beyond merely learning about God, but more so that each of them would have a personal, daily relationship with Him. Through the ups and downs of life, Mike believes that we are stronger when we stand together.
In addition to his ministry as an elder and teacher, Mike is also in charge of grounds and maintenance. In his free time he enjoys taking walks with his wife and daughters, fishing, hunting, golfing and throwing corn hole. He also enjoys instructing young men and boys in the ways of hunting and the outdoors. But most of all, Mike loves to hear from God thru nature, people, songs, His Word and the Holy Spirit.
